China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF) is a state-level grand event jointly hosted by the China Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Intellectual Property Office and Shanghai Municipality, organized by the Shanghai International Technology Exchange Centre (SITEC). The first CSITF will be held between the 8th and 11th of May 2013 at Intex Shanghai and Shanghaimart Expo, Shanghai, China.
“Innovation-driven Development, Intellectual Property Protection, Technology Trade Promotion” is the theme of the 1st CSITF, composed of Exhibitions、Forums & Events and Professional Services. The exhibition itself will be separated into two targeted pavilions, technology pavilion and group pavilion. The technology pavilion will showcase the top-notch technology in the fields of Intelligent Manufacturing、New Generation Information、Bio-technology、New Energy、New Material and Energy Saving and Environmental Protection. Whilst the group pavilion will exhibit the latest high-tech achievements from different countries、regions、domestic provinces and industrial institutions.
Forums & events will be highlighted by the grand opening ceremony & summit, interactive sessions including theme forums, policy interpretation presentations, innovation promotions, business workshops, and signing ceremonies, etc.
Professional services supporting trade in technology will provide informative and valuable assistance in the fields of technology transferring & licensing, intellectual property protection, technology financing, talent services and investment promotion.
