General description of Janteng Nylon suture
Janteng Nylon surgical suture is widely used in the hospitals, clinics, LABs, etc.
- Monofilament synthetic suture non-absorbable color black or blue.
- Obtained from extrusion of polyamide 6.6 with a uniform cylindrical diameter.
- Minimum. tissue reaction is
- Nylon is a non-absorbable material that with time is encapsulated by connective tissue.
- It is known that the thread mass diminishes, approximately by 10% a year by the rupture of chemical links in a hydrolytic action.
- Color code: green label.
- Normally used in various ways of confronting tissue like neurological, ophthalmic and plastic surgery.
General Characteristics ofJanteng Nylon suture
The foregoing results in an adequate alignment regarding its molecular structure providingthe following benefits:
♦ Hightensile strength.
♦ Excellenthandling.
♦ Low tissuereaction.
♦ Predictableabsorption rate.
♦ Firm andsafe Knotting.
♦ Gougewithin the U.S.P. /EP
♦ Safeclosure of the tissue up to theircomplete cicatrisation.
♦ It doesnot have collagen proteins, antigens or pyrogenous agents, its absorption isthrough hydrolysis, thusproviding a low tissue reaction.
